After the commendable discovery of commercial quantities of oil and gas resources in Ghana, in July 2007, there was a rapid development of the oil and gas industry in Ghana. However, due to the then underdeveloped nature of the Ghanaian Oil and Gas industry, most of the players were foreign owned firms. Consequently, the nation embarked on a mission to develop local content capacity to partake significantly in the industry. Thus, a Chemical Engineer whose career began in the year of the oil discovery, whom over the years due to dedication, hard work and consistent development, had garnered the requisite knowledge and experience in the areas of Process Engineering, Project Management and Commercial Advisory; endeavoured to finally bridge the gap between the technical and commercial requirements of the oil and gas industry in Ghana, and the available Ghanaian capacity to execute those functions.

This objective was to be achieved by the formation of a wholly owned Ghanaian Company with expert capacity to execute Front End Engineering Designs, Engineering Procurement and Construction works, Project Management, Research and Development and also undertake Oil and Gas Trading and Commercial activities in a manner that met international approbation.
